Centervise Piranha

The Piranhaclamp system was invented in 2012 by two technicians in Switzerland. The system was specially developed for automated machines in 5-axis machining. After a 3-year development period, a sophisticated clamping system has been developed. After a long test time on 5-axis machines and a test by EMPA (Switzerland), the product is ready to meet the tough demands of the global market. 

Only 3 mm clamping depth and an extremely low overall height make the center clamp of PIRANHA Clamp unique. Its clamping force is outstanding - the spindle withstands pressures over 1300 Nm² - and sets standards in terms of quality and accuracy - all components are hardened, most parts are surface-treated and the spindle and guide columns are additionally coated. In addition, the system has a patented quick-change system and its own zero-clamping system.
